Looking to kick your VSJ wine tasting experience up a notch?

Cheese & Wine PairingJoin us for wine and cheese pairings with cheeses specially curated by local cheese expert and sommelier, Zina Miakinkova (also known as the Central Coast Cheese Lady). Enjoy a selection of six international cheeses chosen specifically to complement six of our award-winning wines for $15 ($10 for Reserve Club members), or add a tour of the winery – including our vineyards and new state-of-the-art production facility – for a total of $25 ($20 for Reserve Club members).

Sample pairings include:

VSJ 2011 Reserve Albariño paired with Bucheron, a soft-ripened French goat cheese from the Loire Valley
VSJ 2012 Sauvignon Blanc paired with Kokos, a coconut cream gouda from Holland
VSJ 2010 Reserve Grenache paired with Campo de Montalban, a rich, buttery Spanish three-milk cheese
VSJ Reserve Alicante Bouschet paired with Ewe-nique, a sheep’s milk gouda from Paso Robles
VSJ 2011 Chorum Red paired with Vella Dry Jack from Sonoma, showing notes of cocoa powder, olive oil and black pepper
VSJ 2010 Reserve Petite Verdot paired with Ubriaco del Piave, an Italian cow’s milk cheese bathed for 40 hours in red wine

Wine and cheese pairings, as well as property tours, are available daily. Reservations are recommended but not required, and may be made by calling us at 805.467.0014. If you opt for the tour, please allow 75 minutes for your experience, and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.
