Chocolate Cabernet Cakes
Ingredients:
4 oz.
semi-sweet baking chocolate
½ cup butter
3 Tbsp Firestone
Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles
3 Tbsp
Firestone Vineyard Chocolate Merlot Sauce
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup
confectioners’ sugar
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
6 Tbsp flour
Butter 4 (6oz) custard cups
or soufflé dishes
Microwave chocolate and
butter in large bowl for
2 minutes on medium or until butter is melted. Wisk
until chocolate is melted. Stir in
Cabernet, Chocolate Merlot
sauce, vanilla and sugar. Wisk in eggs and
yolk. Stir in flour. Spoon
into dishes.
Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15
minutes or until sides
are firm but centers are soft. Let stand
1 minute. Drizzle with more Chocolate
Merlot Sauce.
